Moving Soliton and Localized Soliton at PC Boundary

Abstract

We demonstrate two new types of solitons in a nonlinear PC: the moving soliton, which moves across the PC layers and many times reflects from the PC boundaries, and the oscillating surface soliton that is localized near the PC boundary.
