Resolution enhancement of a flat-hyperbolic lens

Abstract

It is proved that the transversal size of the Point Spread Function (PSF), generated by a flat-hyperbolic lens, can be reduced by adding an axicon. The factor reduction dependence with the axicon angle is studied.
