Holographic Surface Gratings in Photorefractive Materials

Abstract

Existence of surface gratings associated with volume gratings in a photorefractive material is proved by analyzing reflected diffraction orders of an incident reading beam. A novel technique is used to numerically eliminate the Fabry-Perot effect from the diffracted orders.
