Hanbury Brown and Twiss Interferometry with Twisted Light

Abstract

We demonstrate that chaotic fluctuations of intensity give rise to the formation of correlations in the orbital-angular-momentum components and angular positions of pseudothermal light. These correlations are manifested through Hanbury-Brown and Twiss interference in the orbital-angular-momentum basis.
