Polarization splitter in silicon-on-insulator photonic crystal; design and simulation

Abstract

In this paper, we report the polarization splitter based on coupling length in a two dimensional honeycomb photonic crystal slab. The simulation results show that the proposed design behaves as polarization mode splitter.
