Aperiodic Gap Plasmon Resonators for Unidirectional Launching and Shaping of Surface Plasmon Polaritons

Abstract

We report a compact device for the efficient launching of unidirectional surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs). Unidirectional SPPs with focused, Bessel and Airy profiles have also been experimentally realized by adjusting the wavefront.
