Fiber Optic Acoustic Sensors for In-vivo Studies

Abstract

We present fiber optic Fabry-Perot acoustic sensors based on Photonic Crystal mirrors. The sensors combine a small form factor with high sensitivity and enable recording of acoustic signals from individual cardiomyocytes.
