Bell State Generation and Pump Filtering Using Inhomogeneously Poled Nonlinear Waveguides

Abstract

We show that special domain poling patterns in arrays of coupled nonlinear waveguides can allow shaping of the photon pair wavefunction produced by down-conversion. This allows pump filtering and the reconfigurable generation of Bell states.
