Broadband Circular Dichroism Through An Achiral Metasurface

Abstract

We demonstrate a direct distinguishing feature of circularly polarized light through a single nano-aperture. Giant circular dichroism is achieved over a broad spectrum through an achiral metasurface with a mildly focused orbital angular momentum beam.
