Saturation of Multiplexed Volume Bragg Grating Recording

Abstract

Recording of VBG in Photo-Thermo-Refractive glass is limited to maximum refractive index change about 0.002. We discuss various shapes of saturation curves and their influence on amplitudes of recorded basic and cross-modulation gratings.
