Demonstration of a 280 G-bit/s communications link utilizing plane-wave multiplexing

Abstract

We demonstrate a 280 Gbit/s free space communications link utilizing tilted plane-wave multiplexing. We measure a system channel crosstalk less then −30 dB and a bit-error-rate below the FEC limit.
