Abstract

We demonstrate a technique to generate an ultrashort focused pulse through a multimode fiber using digital phase conjugation. We compensate for spatial and temporal distortions due to modal dispersion by a selective phase conjugation process, where modes of similar propagation constants are spatially controlled to form a focus.
