Ultraflat Mid-IR Supercontinuum Pumped by a 100 kW Diode-seeded Picosecond Fiber Amplifier System at 2 μm

Abstract

We generate supercontinuum (750-4000 nm) with Watt-level average power and <1 dB spectral variation at mid-IR wavelengths by pumping ZBLAN fiber with picosecond pulses from a fiber-amplified gain-switched laser diode at 2 μm.
