Differential Gain in Distributed Brillouin Sensors

Not Accessible

Abstract

The high-spatial-resolution distributed sensor can be achieved via differential pulse-width pair DPP-BOTDA, the large pulse ensures narrow Brillouin spectrum and higher effective gain. With BOTDR, the differential signal is achieved by the beat of fast and slow axis in Stokes wave.
