Abstract

We report on advances and unique characteristics of high repetition-rate (>1 GHz) Ti:Sapphire, Er-fiber, and Yb-fiber femtosecond laser frequency combs, and their applications in high-speed, high resolution optical sampling and astrophysical spectrograph calibration.
