Controlled and Fast Patterning Using Self-assembly of Mesoscopic Materials Mediated by Micro-bubbles Under Optical Tweezers

Abstract

We use self-assembly of mesoscopic material around a micro-bubble formed under optical tweezers to generate patterns ~1 mm long with best resolution ~1 μm by manipulating the bubble thermo-optically at rates around 1 Hz.
