Abstract

With the slope or curvature measurement raw data, the data processing algorithm must be studied to cater for aspheric surface form measurement. This paper analyzes five possible approaches. Through simulation and experiment, it is found that while direct fitting is preferred theoretically, reconstruction helps to improve accuracy in the presence of noise, and is thus preferred in practical application.
