Optical Beams in Poincaré Modes

Not Accessible

Abstract

We prepare optical beams in Poincaré modes via non-separable superpositions of spatial and polarization modes. The resulting modes contain multiple mappings of the polarization states of the Poincaré sphere onto the transverse beam profile. They also contain a variety of polarization singularities.
