Wavefront sensing with an oil-filled photonic crystal fiber

Abstract

A novel wavefront sensor based on the sensitivity in coupled light power to the wavefront present at the entrance face of an oil-filled photonic-crystal fiber is proposed. Experimental results confirm the potential of the device.
