Application of the Hanbury-Brown Twiss Effect to Scattering from Quasi-homogeneous Media

Abstract

The intensity correlation technique due to Hanbury-Brown and Twiss is applied to potential scattering. It is found that solid scatterers may be distinguished from hollow ones.
