Surface Plasmon Coupling Efficiency from Nanoslit Apertures to Metal-Insulator-Metal Waveguides

Abstract

We provide a theoretical analysis to predict the coupling efficiency from nanoslits to metal-insulator-metal waveguides quantitatively, which will be useful for the development of plasmonic networks to bridge the gap between photonics, optoelectronics and nanoelectronics.
