Dark, Bright, and Optically Active Modes in Magneto-Plasmonic Structures

Abstract

Strong scatterers enhance far to near-field coupling when arranged in nanoscale clusters. We examine plasmonic structures to decide which modes are desired: dark collective modes with highest Q, or bright modes with best radiative coupling.
