All-Optical Switch Using EIT and the Zeno Effect

Not Accessible

Abstract

We present theoretical results for an all-optical switch based on electromagnetically induced transparency and the Zeno effect in a microdisk resonator. We predict 35 dB of switching contrast with only 2 μW of control-beam power.
