Genetically Engineered Plasmonic Nano-Arrays

Abstract

We design metallic nanoparticle arrays with large electric field enhancement by optimizing a well-defined objective function. Such optimization is performed coupling a genetic algorithm with the multiparticle Mie theory and is validated by SERS measurements.
