Momentum of Light Scattered from Collections of Particles

Abstract

The angular dependence of the momentum flow in a polychromatic plane wave scattered from deterministic and random collections of particles is determined as a function of individual and collective properties of particles. The results are of importance for optimization of optical tweezers.
