Ultra-Efficient Cooling of Resonators: Beating Sideband Cooling with Quantum Control

Abstract

we present a scheme to cool resonators that employ the same configuration as sideband cooling, though we achieve significantly colder temperatures. We also present a method for fast, high-fidelity quantum information transfer between resonators.
