An All Fiber Mode-Locked Tm/Ho Fiber Laser Employing C-band Components

Abstract

An all fiber mode-locked Tm/Ho co-doped fiber laser at 2 µm is presented that uses a C-band isolator and coupler. We investigate using Er-doped, dispersion compensating, and highly nonlinear fiber for intracavity dispersion compensation.
