Engineering of spiral spectrum and angular correlations by tuning crystal orientation

Abstract

We engineer the spiral and angular correlations of photons generated in parametric down-conversion by changing the orientation of the crystal. This is useful for protocols which use orbital angular momentum and angle for encoding information.
