Abstract
We present the first observation of the DC current-induced second harmonic generation (SHG) in multilayer graphene. Low intensity zero-field SHG was found to increase dramatically with the application of the DC electric current in the plane of the graphene film. The observed effect is linear in the current density and odd in the current direction raising the possibility for distant probing of current densities for graphene electronics.
