Manipulating IR Surface Plasmon Polaritons on Graphene

Abstract

Exploiting the dependence of graphene conductivity on the electric bias field, we theoretically investigate the manipulation, routing, waveguiding and scattering of surface-plasmon polaritons along graphene at IR wavelengths, proposing a “flatland” paradigm for optical metamaterials.
