Tailoring the Beam Profile of an 808-nm Pump Laser Diode Using Lloyd’s Mirror Interference

Abstract

We demonstrate a method for tailoring the beam profile of a commercial 808-nm pump laser diode. An almost circular output beam with a vertical divergence of approximately 7.2° was obtained using Lloyd’s mirror interference.
