Infrared Plasmonic Metamaterials for Slow-Light Applications

Abstract

A new approach to slowing light in plasmonic structures is proposed. We utilize the phenomenon of double-Fano resonance. Specific implementations of spectrally broad slow-light structures based on plasmonic antennas are presented.
