Light Field Imaging Spectrometer: Conceptual Design and Simulated Performance

Abstract

We present a snapshot imaging spectrometer using a light field camera combined with an array of narrow-band spectral filters. Simulation results demonstrate its post-processing performance, including spectrum acquisition, digital refocusing and correction of chromatic aberrations.
