Ultra-Sensitive Electric-Field Detector enabled by Micro Antenna and Transparent Conductor (TC) Enhanced Electro-Optic (EO) Structure

Abstract

We propose a compact ultra-sensitive electric-field detector enabled by a T-shaped micro antenna and a transparent conductor enhanced GaAs electro-optic structure with a minimum detectable electric-field strength of 17μV/m*Hz−1/2 and frequency response above 1GHz.
