Abstract

A Heterodyne Mac-Zehnder interferometer to extract phase images of cells and demodulation method to retrieve instantaneous frequency of a phase object, undergoing sinusoidal modulation (amplitude-200 nm and frequency-30 Hz and mimicking cell vibration) is presented.
