In vivo cellular imaging of the rodent retina

Abstract

Developing in vivo imaging techniques in rodent models will enhance our understanding of disease mechanisms and treatments. We review a fluorescence adaptive optics scanning laser ophthalmoscope that can resolve sub-cellular features in living rat retinae.
