Optical imaging of breast cancer by spectral and fluorescence diffuse optical tomography

Abstract

We describe a diffuse optical tomography system having both spectroscopic and fluorescence imaging capability. Some test results obtained in phantoms studies as well as our initial experience in patients are discussed.
