Nonlinear dipole rotation/oscillation in anisotropic lattices

Abstract

We demonstrate forced rotation/oscillation of 2nd-band dipole gap solitons by an asymmetrically positioned square lattice. Emergence of vortex with topological charges seems to accompany the dynamical dipole evolution.
