All-Fluoride Fiber Laser at 1480 nm Based on Fiber Bragg Gratings

Abstract

We report an all-fluoride fiber laser cavity using a fiber Bragg grating. The thulium-doped fiber laser yields a maximum output power of 350 mW at 1480 nm with a slope efficiency of 40%.
