Spatial-profile effects and their removal in ultrashort-laser-pulse measurement using GRENOUILLE

Abstract

We show that the effect of a non-uniform beam spatial profile can be removed from GRENOUILLE measurements of ultrashort-laser-pulses. Consequently, single-shot measurements can be performed even when a beam has poor spatial quality.
