Measurement of Isolated Attosecond Pulses in the Few-Cycle Regime

Abstract

We report on compression and temporal characterization of isolated attosecond pulses consisting of few cycles, generated by polarization-gating technique with phase-stabilized pulses. Thin aluminum foils are used to compensate for chirp of the attosecond pulses.
