Abstract

The on-axis polarization aberration function of a one-dimensional sub-wavelength grating anti-reflection coating on a f/1.7 lens surface is analyzed. 0.02 waves of astigmatism are induced and the retardance aberration (astigmatism+defocus) is less than 0.02 waves.
