Protein Crystal Detection and Characterization Using Polarization Interferometry

Abstract

Protein crystals down to 30qm in size have been detected using a scanning polarization interferometer with a 568nm laser source. The size and anisotropy of the crystals have been retrieved from the phase anisotropy measurements.
