Dispersion surfaces for photonic crystals composed of anisotropic materials

Abstract

We demonstrate numerically the dispersion surfaces of anisotropic, optically biaxial dielectric composites by using plane wave expansion method . We find that by varying the anisotropy it changes the shape of the dispersion surfaces.
