Low Vπ Optical Polymer Modulator With Novel Poling Strategy

Abstract

A novel scheme for poling is demonstrated to improve the poling efficiency of electro-optical (EO) polymers. Vπ of 2.1V from a single-arm driven Mach-Zehnder modulator was demonstrated using AJL8/APC.
