Planar Omnidirectional Reflectors Based on Organic and Inorganic Glasses

Abstract

We report omnidirectional reflectors with fundamental stop bands in the near infrared, fabricated from polymers and chalcogenide glasses. Thin film stacks exhibit good planarity and adhesion. Optical properties are in good agreement with theoretical predictions.
