Molecular Dissociation Observed by Four-Wave Mixing: Variation of Photodissociation Fragment Distribution with Pump Ellipticity

Abstract

Molecular dissociation is detected with an atomic wavepacket and parametric four-wave mixing in femtosecond pump-probe experiments. Product states’ distributions are obtained and compared for linearly and elliptically polarized pump/probe.
