Phase Matching and Control of High Harmonic Generation and Applications in Materials Dynamics

Abstract

High harmonic generation is a unique source of ultrafast coherent x-ray radiation. This talk will discuss advances in source technology using phase matching, pulse shaping and phase stabilization, and also discuss applications in time-resolved spectroscopy.
