Diffractive elements for 3D wavefields and the fractional Talbot effect

Abstract

The fractional Talbot effect is investigated as the basis for designing diffractive optics for controlling the structure of 3D wavefields. We discuss the potential use of these components for fabrication of 3D diffractive elements.
