Superposition of Mesoscopic States with Sub-Planck Structures in Phase Space

Abstract

We propose cavity quantum electrodynamics methods, using dispersive as well as resonant interaction between atoms and the field to realize the mesoscopic superposition of coherent states which would exhibit sub-Planck structures in phase space.
